Chicago's OCEANO have released a brand new song from their long-awaited new album, INCISIONS, which is due to be released on October 1st in the USA via Century Media/Earache Records, and on October 14th in Europe via Earache Records.

THE BROWNING INVITE FANS TO REMIX NEW SINGLE
Electronic metallers THE BROWNING are inviting their fans around the world to remix the band's new single, "Gravedigger", which is taken from their upcoming new album, HYPERNOVA.
THE BROWNING are giving their fans the chance to be the producer and make their very own remix of "Gravedigger" using the actual track stems. Regardless of whether you're a complete novice, a bedroom musician or a world-class producer, the band want you to use the song's individual vocal, guitar, bass, drum and synth stems to create your very own version of "Gravedigger" in any style you like.
To take part, simply download the file containing the stems and album artwork, make your very own remix, and upload the finished tune to YouTube using the album artwork and titling it "The Browning - Gravedigger (Your Remix Name Here)". British rock 'n' roll band THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT have announced dates for a UK tour, which kicks off on September 17th in Liverpool.
The band will be heading out in support of their highly-anticipated self-titled debut album, which is due to be released on September 16th.

HEARTWORK, the classic album from British grindcore/death metal legends CARCASS, has been remastered with Full Dynamic Range audio and is available now on limited edition CD and LP.
Originally released in 1993, HEARTWORK was CARCASS' biggest-selling album, and their first to land in the top 50 of the UK charts. The album has been specially remastered from the original tapes using Full Dynamic Range (FDR) mastering, allowing the music's nuances to shine through and giving the whole album a more ferocious, immersive and dynamic sound than ever before.
The typical method of delivery for mastered audio involves using heavy limiting to restrict the dynamic range and increase perceived loudness. However, this results in unwanted artifacts caused by the process, such as the increased likelihood of distortion. This led to what is known as "the loudness wars", with the dynamic range of music being restricted more and more in an effort to make it sound louder.
Full Dynamic Range, on the other hand, delivers music at its optimum sound level dynamically, leaving the listener to decide on the playback level. This means that the track is not heavily limited to increase perceived loudness - you hear the tracks as they were made and intended to sound, with no loss of quality.

"We cut the record live in four days at the Fish Factory in Willesden, London. It has a great API Legacy desk and a Studer tape machine - that's all we needed. This album is about friendship, good times and redemption - losing your way, then finding it - over and over. It's very song-driven, before the drums and guitars were the songs - and they were easy to write. We wrote with open hearts and fed off the music we all loved growing up. There was no commercial agenda, just to write and perform good music that was real."

"I'm really excited that we can now tell everyone when and where to get our album. I know there are people looking forward to hearing it and it's amazing that it's already in the pre-order charts. All our heart and soul went into making it and I'm immensely proud of it."

UK METALLERS TMIS (THE MORE I SEE) SPEAK OUT IN SUPPORT OF SPOTIFY
In the wake of RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE's recent criticism of music-streaming platform Spotify, British metallers THE MORE I SEE have spoken out in support of the service and the huge benefits it can bring to developing artists.
While such big-name artists as METALLICA and PINK FLOYD have recently joined Spotify, YORKE claims that new artists cannot expect to make any money from the service. However, THE MORE I SEE argue that Spotify offers much more by exposing bands to a wider audience, having supported TMIS with an exclusive launch of their new EP with the same global marketing recently offered to the likes of DAFT PUNK and CAZZETTE.
THE MORE I SEE lead guitarist and founding member GIZZ BUTT comments:
"In the late '90s, Radiohead were the alternative band that I loved the most; so much so that they influenced much of my own songwriting between 2000 and 2003. Reading Thom Yorke give the thumbs down to Spotify could be relevant to my band, The More I See, as yesterday our 3-track EP was 'launched' through Spotify, so hearing about profiteering shareholders and unpaid new artists could make me anxious, no doubt. However, we are in an era where people need introductions in new ways. It's not gonna happen through listening booths in HMV and it's not gonna happen through John Peel. Not anymore.
"I've already made purchases from recommendations which I checked out firstly on Spotify and then I made my purchase. Online, of course. Today I asked a young guitar player, 14 years old, 'Have you heard of the band Radiohead?', to which he replied, 'Who?'. You can guess that would be the answer from a generation that are ignorant of The Sex Pistols, The Clash and even Joy Division! Would you say rock is dead? Try saying that to Guns N' Roses and Black Sabbath - and they are most certainly on Spotify.
"Thom Yorke gave us an idea that it may work out to 'give your music away'. We tried it with our second album. Biggest mistake I've ever made as an artist. So now Thom says 'Veto Spotify!'. Tell you what, 'Yorkie'... I'll trust my own instincts, OK."

SAVAGE MESSIAH are due to kick off a UK tour supporting Finland's WINTERSUN tonight - Tuesday, 16th July - at The Garage in London.
SAVAGE MESSIAH are taking a break from recording their as-yet untitled new album to take part in the five-date trek, which also features fellow UK metallers BLOODSHOT DAWN. Following these dates, SAVAGE MESSIAH will return to the studio to complete work on their new album, before heading out on a mini headlining tour in October.

THE MORE I SEE RELEASE 'THE EYE THAT OFFENDS' VIDEO AND E.P.
British metallers TMIS (THE MORE I SEE) have released their first official music video for the track, "The Eye That Offends", which was filmed on the set of Star Wars in Northern Africa.
TMIS drove for six hours across the Tunisian desert to shoot the video, performing at three iconic sets from the Star Wars movies - remarkably still standing years after being abandoned, preserved in the arid desert heat. The result is a visually stunning spectacle that perfectly compliments the band's energetic performance.

"I'm a massive fan of Star Wars, so to visit Tunisia and film at some of the greatest film locations ever was really special. It was such an incredible experience to perform at the mighty canyons of the Jundland Wastes (Episode IV: A New Hope), where Luke Skywalker and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO first meet Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as the city of Mos Espa (Episode I: The Phantom Menace), and especially Luke Skywalker's home - Lars homestead (Episode IV: A New Hope). It was a childhood dream of mine to see the igloo, and to get to film there with the sun setting behind us was something I'll never forget!"

THE MORE I SEE VIDEO FILMED ON SET OF STAR WARS TO BE RELEASED ON MONDAY
British metallers TMIS (THE MORE I SEE) are due to release their first ever music video on Monday, which was filmed on the set of the legendary Star Wars movies in Northern Africa.
TMIS drove for six hours across the Tunisian desert to shoot the video for their track, "The Eye That Offends", performing at three iconic sets from the hugely popular movies - remarkably still standing years after being abandoned, preserved in the arid desert heat. The result is a visually stunning spectacle that perfectly compliments the band's energetic performance.

DIAMOND PLATE REVEAL NEW ALBUM TITLE AND ARTWORK
Chicago's DIAMOND PLATE have officially revealed that their upcoming new album will be titled PULSE.
The follow-up to DIAMOND PLATE's 2011 debut album, GENERATION WHY?, was recorded with producer NEIL KERNON (JUDAS PRIEST, NEVERMORE, DEICIDE, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD) at Studio Chicago in the band's hometown. DIAMOND PLATE revealed the album title to fans by posting one letter each day over the last week until the title was complete.
DIAMOND PLATE comments:
"During the months of recording, the album took on a life of its own. Our goal was to capture the energy of a live band, and working with Neil gave us the freedom to create the music we've always wanted to play. A straightforward explanation of the title 'PULSE' is that it represents music, or life, in its purest form. The real meaning behind the album can only be discovered by the person using his/her ears."

WHITE WIZZARD ANNOUNCE FULL EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR DATES
WHITE WIZZARD have confirmed dates for a full European headlining tour, which kicks off on September 27th in Brighton, England.
The band will be hitting the road in support of their new studio album, THE DEVILS CUT, starting with a string of recently-announced UK shows, followed by stops in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
WHITE WIZZARD bassist and mainman JON LEON comments:
"We are very excited to get back over to Europe. Giovanni and I have worked hard to get a solid line-up of guys that will actually tour and stick it out and to make White Wizzard a stable entity for the fans. RIVAL SONS have confirmed dates for a US tour, including a number of shows with rock legend SAMMY HAGAR (MONTROSE, VAN HALEN, CHICKENFOOT).
RIVAL SONS will be kicking off their tour on August 20th with a number of headlining dates, and have also been invited to perform a select number of shows with one of their heroes, SAMMY HAGAR, on his "Four Decades of Rock" summer tour.

THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT SIGNS WITH EARACHE RECORDS
Earache Records is proud to announce the signing of British rock 'n' roll group THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT.
Formed in 2011 in London, THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT were recently described as "a blast of brilliant, bluesy rock 'n' roll without restraint". The band self-released their acclaimed "Pride EP" in September 2012, showcasing both their soulful and rocking sides.

OCEANO REVEAL 'INCISIONS' ALBUM ARTWORK
Chicago's OCEANO have revealed the artwork for their upcoming new album, INCISIONS, which is due to be released later this year on Earache Records in Europe, and via Century Media/Earache Records in the USA.
INCISIONS is the band's third album, and was recorded at Electrowerks Studio in Downers Grove, Illinois. The artwork for INCISIONS was created by KEN SARAFIN (THE BRIDAL PROCESSION, CATALEPSY).

OCEANO comment on the artwork:
"A while ago I came across a really awesome piece of artwork that was inspired by the band and also donned the band's logo as well. At the time, I wasn't aware who had painted it; upon further research I found its origin and the artist who created it, Ken Sarafin. Ken's been a fan of the band for quite some while, and everything in his portfolio is a masterpiece. Seeing as this band is already big on coupling immense visual imagery in our album art with our music, Ken was a natural fit. He even went a little out of his norm and hand-painted the full cover art, then only digitally enhanced certain aspects. We're very satisfied with the final product of this true piece of art and are happy the fans are just as stoked on it. The album itself will surely please the senses as much as Ken's work has."

SAVAGE MESSIAH TO RECORD NEW STUDIO ALBUM IN JULY
SAVAGE MESSIAH have confirmed plans to enter the studio on July 1st to begin recording their as-yet untitled new studio album.
The band will be working on the follow-up to 2012's PLAGUE OF CONSCIENCE with producer SCOTT ATKINS (SYLOSIS, BEHEMOTH) at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, having already worked with him on the band's last two albums.
SAVAGE MESSIAH frontman DAVE SILVER comments:
"We're beyond excited to be fast approaching the day when we'll head off back into Grindstone Studios, to work once more with Scott Atkins on what we can promise will be the most metal Savage Messiah CD yet! We've approached the writing process in a totally old school manner; just four guys in a rehearsal space getting a vibe going, playing heavy metal! Which has really allowed us to express the chemistry within the band and build on the musical foundation we laid with 'Plague of Conscience'.
"We're pleased to be working with Scott Atkins for the third time, as he understands the band and has always delivered above and beyond for us and we've no doubt that he'll get the best out of us once again. WHITE WIZZARD ANNOUNCE 'THE DEVILS CUT' U.S. ALBUM RELEASE SHOW
WHITE WIZZARD have announced a special album release show at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood on July 9th.
The band will be celebrating the release of their brand new studio album, THE DEVILS CUT, which is due to be released in the USA on June 25th via Century Media/Earache Records. WHITE WIZZARD will be joined at the event by melodic power metallers DEATH DEALER.

THE BROWNING CONFIRMED FOR GERMANY'S 'WITH FULL FORCE' FESTIVAL MAINSTAGE
THE BROWNING have been confirmed for this year's With Full Force festival, which takes place from June 27th to June 30th in Löbnitz, Germany.

TMIS (THE MORE I SEE) SHOOT MUSIC VIDEO ON THE SET OF STAR WARS
British metallers TMIS (THE MORE I SEE) have finished shooting their first ever music video, for their track "The Eye That Offends", on the set of one of the most legendary movies of all time: Star Wars.
Long after being abandoned, TMIS - led by 22-year old Peterborough native JAMES CLUER - travelled deep into the Tunisian desert to shoot what is undoubtedly one of the most visually stunning music videos ever made. With the ever-shifting desert sands gradually moving in and reclaiming the land, the band chose to visit the iconic movie set before it's lost forever, capturing in the process a stunning performance in an equally stunning locale.

TMIS frontman JAMES CLUER comments:
"It was an amazing experience to go out and venture a great part of North Africa in Tunisia to film amongst some of the greatest film locations possible! Being a massive fan of Star Wars myself (especially films 4, 5 and 6) it was great to go and see Mos Eisley as it is known, as a lot of the old props are still standing strong and look epic! The part which was my childhood dream was to see the igloo on the Tunisian/Algerian border, as it is just in the middle of a barren salt lake, and watching the sun set behind us whilst shooting the last scene for the video was really special!"
To reach their awe-inspiring destination, TMIS drove for six hours across the desert with instruments and camera equipment in tow, pushing themselves to the limit in the sweltering desert heat as they set up and performed in numerous locations which will be instantly-recognisable to any fan of the films, all while avoiding rattlesnakes and the first rainstorm in four years - a rare occurrence which, coincidentally, also held up filming on the original Star Wars in 1976.
Interesting facts about the band's journey:
Total miles travelled = 896
Number of hours spent in a cramped car = 23
Maximum temperature reached = 36 degrees Celsius
Total rain = 45 minutes
Number of abandoned cars spotted = 9
Number of creepy crawlies encountered = 7 snakes, 1 lizard, 11 beetles, around 500 giant ants, 20 donkeys, 2 camels and 1 falcon
Number of Star Wars quotes spoken during filming = approx. 100
Number of film set locations visited = 3
Number of places females in the crew refused entry to = 7
"The Eye That Offends" is set to appear on TMIS' new album, THE DISAPPEARING HUMANS, which was mixed by producer SCOTT ATKINS (SYLOSIS, BEHEMOTH, SAVAGE MESSIAH) and mastered at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios with STEVE ROOKE (THE BEATLES). The album is due to be released later this year on Earache Records in Europe, and via Century Media/Earache Records in the USA.

SAVAGE MESSIAH CONFIRM UK TOUR WITH WINTERSUN
SAVAGE MESSIAH have confirmed a UK tour with Finland's WINTERSUN and fellow UK metallers BLOODSHOT DAWN.
SAVAGE MESSIAH will be taking a break from recording their as-yet untitled new album to take part in the five-date trek, which kicks off on July 16th at the Garage in London. The band will then be heading out around the UK again in October on a mini headlining tour.

SAVAGE MESSIAH will be taking a break from recording their as-yet untitled new album to take part in the five-date trek, which kicks off on July 16th at the Garage in London. The band will then be heading out around the UK again in October on a mini headlining tour.

RIVAL SONS KICK OFF EUROPEAN TOUR TOMORROW
RIVAL SONS are due to kick off a European tomorrow - Saturday, June 8th - at Kivenlahti Rock festival in Finland.
The band will be trekking around Europe for a month in support of their latest album, HEAD DOWN, including a number of festival appearances and headlining shows, as well as three shows with rock legends KISS.

WHITE WIZZARD CONFIRM UK DATES FOR EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR
WHITE WIZZARD have confirmed the first dates for a European headlining tour, which kicks off on September 27th in Brighton, England.
The band will be hitting the road in support of their new studio album, THE DEVILS CUT, starting off with a string of shows in the UK. The band will then be moving on to continental Europe, with dates due to be announced soon.
WHITE WIZZARD bassist and mainman JON LEON comments:
"We are very excited to get back over to Europe. Giovanni and I have worked hard to get a solid line-up of guys that will actually tour and stick it out and to make White Wizzard a stable entity for the fans. We appreciate all of our fans being so patient and supportive. What we have now is a line-up that has been together over a year that is very dedicated and serious. The fans will finally get to see the five guys that recorded the album and we promise we will not disappoint.
