Earache's all encompassing new Thrash compilation 'Thrashing Like A Maniac' is released Monday 21st January in Europe (5th February USA), complete with a FREE fanzine titled 'Speed Merchants', available exclusively from participating stores and via the Earache mailorder.
The 'zine, edited by Terrorizer scribe and Thrash maniac Ian Webster, contains 16 interviews with all the bands featured on the compilation, as well as reviews of the latest up and coming Thrash releases. 'Speed Merchants' is available inserted into the limited edition vinyl pressing of 'Thrashing Like A Maniac', and while stocks last from selected independent stores. Orders via Earache mailorder will also receive the 'zine with their purchase.

BONDED BY BLOOD vocalist, Jose "Aladdin" Barrales issued this studio update during a short break from recording their upcoming EARACHE debut, FEED THE BEAST:
"Just wanted to give you guys some info on what we are up to.
We are away for about 2 weeks and a half recording our debut album coming out through EARACHE records entitled FEED THE BEAST.
Our producer is none other than Michael Rosen
He's worked with some great names; TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, SADUS, VIO-LENCE, JOE SATRIANI...
Drum tracks are done and man oh man do they sound ball crushing.
Right now we're on guitars. Gonna do some bass. Maybe squeeze in some vocals.
The songs are gunna blow brains.

A recently unearthed live show from seminal Swedish Death Metallers At the Gates will form part of a limited edition version of their classic 1995 album 'Slaughter of the Soul', to be released on March 10 in Europe and March 25 in North America.
Issued as a 2 disc set containing the original album, 6 bonus songs and the 35 minute 'The Making of Slaughter of the Soul' documentary, the release now boasts a full live set filmed live in Krakow, Poland 30th December 1995, when the band toured with Unleashed.

MARCO MINNEMANN JOINS EPHEL DUATH
International drumming sensation Marco Minnemann has joined Italian
experimental metallers Ephel Duath and will be working on the upcoming album
"Through My Dog's Eyes".
Minnemann is recognized as one of today's top drummers, known firstly as the
drummer of H-Blockx, recently he also toured with Terry Bozzio and Chad
Wackerman and his latest Dvd features Mike Keneally, Bryan Beller and the
Buddy Rich Big Band.
He recently performed with Necrophagist on the US leg of their Summer
Slaughter Tour.

Recent Earache singings Gama Bomb are preparing to enter the studio to record their debut full length 'Citizen Brain', with producer Scott Atkins at the helm.
The band recently made performed to a packed house at the Earache Christmas party in London on December 12th, airing new material from the forthcoming record.
Commenting on the upcoming, vocalist Philly states:
?When we're not nursing hangovers, we're mega-excited to get to work on ?Citizen Brain?. We've been bashing the songs into shape for months, and they're now ready to really blow some heads up! We're pretty confident that we're about to make a record that's going to win converts. It's going to change people's minds, make them throw out the dross they've been tolerating for the last 15 years and really start thrashing out like big boys again.?We'll be sure to pack our thermals, a few cases of special brew and an industrial-sized drum of beans for this one."
Among the tracks set for inclusion are ?Space Invaders?, ?Sentenced to Thrash?, ?Hammer Slammer? and ?Zombi Brew?, the latter also featured on the upcoming 'Thrashing Like A Maniac' compilation due on January 21, alongside a host of other emerging new Thrash acts like Evile, Municipal Waste, Dekapitator and Warbringer.

Picking up where the cover for EXTINGUISH THE WEAK left off, BONDED BY BLOOD's mascot, Brutus faces off with the devil on the cover of the band's EARACHE debut, FEED THE BEAST.
With its dynamic comic book-style artwork, FEED THE BEAST's cover conveys not only the sense of danger and electricity that is personified in the music, but a deeper meaning is conveyed as well. "The artwork represents my whole view on Los Angeles. It takes you in and spits you back out," says vocalist, Jose "Aladdin" Barrales. "LA is like a beast, if you don't do the right "thing" you will end up on the streets. I think Tom, the artist, took my interpretation and made it come alive."

DEICIDE - STUDIO UPDATE WITH GLEN BENTON
As the temperature drops everywhere else in the country, things are only getting hotter in Florida as the recording of DEICIDE's 2008 release, TILL DEATH DO US PART grows ever closer to completion.
Glen Benton entered the doors of Morrisound studios this week to record vocals for the album. Speaking on the matter of how the recording session has been going, Benton summed it up with 3 simple words. "It's all good."
"The highs are crisp and demonic and the lows are nice and gargly. Just like always," says the DEICIDE frontman. However, everything hasn't been "just like always" as far as this session goes. According to Glen, "Sobriety is fuckin fantastic." Combine that with a 9 month rest and you will see why he feels so rejuvenated. "I'm in the best health of my life and I'm 100% rehabilitated. I'm clear headed...a lot more focused and concentrated on what I've got to do."
Glen's greater focus and concentration has allowed him to record his vocals on songs like "Not As Long As We Both Shall Live" and "Till Death Do us Part" with greater ease than ever before. "We're rolling through the shit quickly. I've got a lot more power in my diaphragm and can do whole paragraphs (of lyrics) at a time." The songs, however have proved challenging enough that a even a rejuvenated Glen Benton would have to push himself to the very limit. "The lyrics are a lot faster. I had to revamp my vocal stylings to do this...try different techniques." From the sound of it, TILL DEATH DO US PART is shaping up to be another major step forward in the legacy of DEICIDE.

BONDED BY BLOOD BONDS WITH THE FANS
While preparing to head into the studio to record their debut album FEED THE BEAST, young thrashers, BONDED BY BLOOD have been keeping busy by playing shows up and down the west coast. Along the way, the band has been seeing more and more faces at every show they play. "We have been getting more and more dedicated fans recently," says lead singer, Aladdin who has taken definite notice of the steady growth of their fanbase. "To tell you the truth it feels GREAT. They love the music and they love that the band is down to earth and don't act like uptight "rockstars."
There are some fans who see BONDED BY BLOOD once then bring all of their friends with them to see another show. There's also some very creative fans who show their support in other ways. "We have gotten some crazy fans that come to our shows and draw us pictures (like the following one depicting BONDED BY BLOOD mascot, Brutus with some familiar characters: http://www.earache.com/public/BBBtmntbrutus.jpg), make their own shirts (like the fan featured in this picture with Aladdin: http://www.earache.com/public/BBBshirt.jpg), patches etc;" says Aladdin.
Overall, the dedication of the fans has really taken the band aback. BONDED BY BLOOD's style of playing lends itself to the band feeding off the energy of their fans as much as the fans feed off the band's energy. Aladdin feels positive about where things for the band are headed, even before FEED THE BEAST has been recorded. On behalf of the band, Aladdin has a message for all who have been supporting them up to this point and beyond: "I just wanted to say thank you to all the old and new fans cus if it wasn't for you guys we wouldn't be where we are at right now."

New-school LA thrashers Bonded By Blood are set to record their debut Earache release 'Feed The Beast' with US producer Michael Rosen. Rosen, who has worked with the likes of Testament, Violence, Sadus, Joe Satriani and Death Angel will begin working with the band in the New Year.
Bonded By Blood vocalist Aladdin has spoken out about how he feels about working with the well known producer:
"It feels freaking awesome. He has produced and engineered some of my favorite bands Testament Vio-lence Sadus and now BBB. Its like a dream come true. 'Feed The Beast' is sure to be one kick ass album".
Bonded By Blood will commence recording 'Feed The Beast' on January 11th 2008 at J Street Recorders (Tesla) in Sacramento, CA . The full track-listing will be as follows:
