EVILE GUITARIST COMMENTS ON RECENT UK TOUR WITH SANCTITY
Fresh from taking the UK by storm on a recent rip-roaring tour with US metallers Sanctity and Romeo Must Die, Evile guitarist Ol Drake has spoken out about how the fast-rising Huddersfield thrashers found the tour:
"It's been awesome touring with two great bands who just happened to be awesome people too. In Sanctity's case we were un-sure what to expect, as our past experiences with American bands hasn't been too good, but they're such awesome guys. This tour's just been 100% fun and pleasure."
The brutality of the thrashers coming out to see them was definitely in full force, as Ol recounts an instance at a show in Scotland. He explains:
"Some guy got knocked out and taken to Hospital in Glasgow. He's ok now though. BRUTAL. you can't keep a Thrasher down.
It's just been an all around blast. Cheers to all who came out and took the time to watch Evile, and Cheers to our new mates Sanctity and RMD. Thrash you all again soon."

SEVERE TORTURE SPEAK OUT ABOUT RECENT MEXICAN TOUR
After recently delivering their brutal Death Metal sound to Mexico, Severe Torture have given an exclusive insight into the life of a band on tour. Aptly describing the visit as 'Vengeance Over Mexico', with their latest album Sworn Vengeance due for release this month, Seth reveals all about Mexico, Maffia and bootleg Merch. Read what he has to say here:
"On October 1st we arrived in Mexico City, where we met with our Mexican friends: Dave, Javier, Micky and Carlos. Of course the first night we went for some beers and tacos to relax after a long flight.
The next day, travelling to Monterrey, just to sleep and on Wednesday we had our first gig in Laredo. Many fanatic maniacs showed up and the show was a blast. Before and after the show we had to drink many beers with our fans and that gave us a warm welcome.
Next day, October 4th, we went to Tampico to play at the Club Golden Billar. It was a hot, but brutal show!!! After the show we wanted to drive to our Hotel, but there was a Mercedes with black windows blocking the street. It didn't look ok so we turned around and took another street. Another car with black windows pulled up in front of us and blocked the street again. We were now sure this was not good, especially when we saw guys coming out, holding guns... We got the hell out of there, went the opposite direction, drove around the city and got to our hotel safe. Next day we saw a newspaper, it said that later that night, the army went there and arrested 18 drug maffia-related members, who were loading up a truck of cocaine in the street they were blocking. We were glad we weren't there, that's for sure! We played in Monterrey and the day after we did an open air show in San Luis Potosi. The crowd was for sure one of the most brutal ones we ever played for!!! We spent a lo t of time hanging out with them and had a great time.
After another great gig in Queretaro we had 3 days off, so we went to Teotihuacan to climb the Pyramid of the Sun and the Moon. It was something noone of us ever saw. Thanx to Dave and his friend Gabriella for taking us there.
Our hotel was in Mexico City so we spent our remaining two days there.
On Oct. 11th we played in the Area Chica in Toluca. and again the people showed that they have a great passion for metal. The two last shows were Guadalajara and last but not least Mexico City in the Infernal Bar. Guadalajara was hot. We went to a market first with just CD's, t-shirts, bags etc. All of a sudden we hear a track of our new album coming from somewhere. We checked it out and that's when we saw the first bootleg version of "Sworn Vengeance". Guadalajara was so hot that my whopper came out again. Lucky that was after the show, sorry to the club by the way...
Finally, Mexico City. Probably the best show of the tour. When we arrived at the club we saw a big merchandise booth, with lots of different bootleg Severe Torture shirts! Awesome to see such support! We even got a Sworn Vengeance longsleeve now, before the album's out! But who cares, these people are 100% metal!!! Thanx for the support! There were a lot of people we met in the days before that show, so a lot of partying! We picked some good tracks out of the death metal jukebox and had our last Mexican beers with our friends.
We like to thank Dave, Javier, Micky and Carlos for taking good care of us! We had a blast!!! And also many thanx to our Mexican fans, you were great!!! Hopefully we will be back soon with more Severe Torture!

The following is a statement from a member of Covan's family, via Martin, former bass player of Decapitated, with regards to the band members situation following the bus crash in Russia earlier this week:
"Covan and Vitek are still at the hospital in Novozybkov, Russia, where they were taken to following the accident. Despite the rumors, they are not in Moscow.
Their families are currently trying to decide the best possible city and hospital to take them to next for additional medical attention.
Covan is showing some progress, but unfortunately, there has been no signs of improvement in Vitek's condition. The families of Covan and Vitek appreciate everyone's concern on the matter, but please do not spread any more uncomfirmed rumors or information on the internet. More details will soon be released."

DEICIDE - RALPH SANTOLLA RECORDING GUITARS ON NEW ALBUM, TILL DEATH DO US PART
Veteran guitarist, Ralph Santolla has rejoined DEICIDE and is currently hard at work recording his guitar parts for DEICIDE's 2008 release, TILL DEATH DO US PART at Morrisound Studios in Florida.
DEICIDE had previously parted ways with Ralph Santolla back in May of this year. Over the course of the following months, he would spend the summer touring with OBITUARY and pushing his talent as far as it could go. When he was asked to rejoin DEICIDE in time for the recording of TILL DEATH DO US PART, Santolla came back to the fold as a man possessed and he had come back, literally better than ever before.
While there will inevitably be naysayers who doubt the decision, DEICIDE drummer, Steve Asheim insists that Ralph Santolla's return will only strengthen the maniacal musical landscape that DEICIDE is known for. "Ralph is really reaching towards the very depths of his abilities to come up with something completely fresh and challenging."
Even those outside of the band have given nothing but positive feedback on Ralph Santolla's progress during the recording sessions. "Jim Morris came and told me that Ralph has been coming up with some of the greatest metal riffs and licks that he's ever heard;" says Asheim. "Ralph's really pushing his abilities to the limit, coming up with things that he's never been able to do before."

Two members of Decapitated have been seriously injured in a road accident involving their tour bus and a truck carrying wood in Gomel, on the Russia/Belarus border.
Vocalist Covan and drummer Vitek sustained serious head injuries as a result of the accident, and are to be taken 550km from Gomel to Moscow for emergency treatment.
All other members of the touring party are not reported to be seriously hurt.
Our thoughts are with all members of the tour at this time.

EVILE have been confirmed as one of the bands battling it out for world domination via your tv set at this year's Metal Hammer GET IN THE RING, which will be aired on Rockworld TV over the Christmas period.
GET IN THE RING will take place on December 11th at the London Kentish town Forum. EVILE will battle it out in a boxing ring stage by playing their thrashtastic tunes against 3 other bands.

After being chosen by Machine Head to support them on a Black Crusade warm up gig at the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin on November 18th, Evile and Gama Bomb have both revealed how excited they are about playing the large-scale gig.
Speaking in the midst of a current UK tour with Sanctity, Evile guitarist Ol Drake has spoken out about landing the opportunity to support such a legendary band:
"We are extremely excited to be playing with Machine Head as Rob Flynn is a legend. Violence were fucking cool so we are really looking forward to playing this show and meeting all the guys. I hope they play some of the old fast shit - watch out Dublin and Prepare to be Thrashed!"
Hailing from Ireland, new Earache thrash signings Gama Bomb have also commented upon playing their high-energy thrash sound to more than 1000 people. Speaking exclusively, vocalist Phil Byrne has stated:
"We are totally stoked to be playing with such a legendary band as Machine Head, and especially to do it here in one of Dublin's greatest venues! This starts our new gigging schedule as we mean to carry on, so hopefully we will be playing a lot more shows like this one. This will be the biggest audience we've ever played to, and that just makes us all the more willing to paint the place with their brains - metaphorically, of course."

For two shows only, MUNICIPAL WASTE will be throwing the ultimate Halloween party! They'll be two nights filled with thrash and heavy on devilishness. It's no Halloween party without costumes, of course. Come down as Toxie, The Wizard or something else that's completely off the wall. The band wants to see as many costumed thrashers in the audience as possible. If you don't have any costume, then trick everyone into thinking that you do by treating yourself to beer after beer and pretend that the vomit running down your shirt is something. Costume or no costume, just come down to these special shows and FACE THE WASTE!

Two releases from early Ragga Metal pioneers Dub War will be available together in an exclusive double CD pack released on Monday October 29th. Featuring Benji from Skindred, this fan friendly CD pack, which includes the albums Pain and Wrong Side Of Beautiful is a fitting release to mark Dub War's success and influence in the 1990s.
With five UK chart hits under their belts and an infamous crossover sound of Ragga-meets-Metal, Dub War certainly made their mark on the UK metal scene, creating the pathway for vocalist Benji Webbe to move on to bands such as the short-lived Mass Mental, featuring Rob Trujillo (Metallica), an infamous explosive set with Soulfly (feat ex-Sepultura Max Cavalera) and also his current band Skindred.

In a string of exclusive videos shot earlier on this week the new Biomechanical line-up have introduced themselves to their fans and spoken out about how they came to join the band. The four video clips can be viewed at www.myspace.com/biomechanicalcannibalised and feature interviews with ex-DragonForce bassist Adrian Lambert and guitarist Chris Van Hayden and also drummer and guitarist Jonno Lodge and Gus Drax.
These exclusive videos are released as Biomechanical have just announced their first show together with the new line-up, which will take place at Earache?s Christmas party on December 12th at the Purple Turtle in Camden. This show comes ahead of the release of the eagerly anticipated Cannibalised which is slated to be available on February 11th 2008.
