After taking some time to recharge their strength after completing their new album, EXILED TO EARTH, Pomona, CA thrashers, BONDED BY BLOOD are playing their first shows of 2010 and kicking things off in a big fashion. The mini tour, which spans several dates around California and Arizona begins TODAY at the famed Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, Ca. The band looks forward to getting back on stage and making their fans headbang like hell. There's also word that if the crowds are especially crazy at these shows, the band might debut some new songs from EXILED TO EARTH. Here are the dates:

British thrashers EVILE will commence their first US tour, starting
tomorrow on the Hordes of Chaos II tour with KREATOR in West
Springfield, Virginia, followed by the Killfest tour with Overkill.

With a typically reserved attitude they pondered their upcoming tour
before setting off to the US this morning.

Frontman Matt Drake said:

"I hate airports, they're designed to make travelling as difficult as
possible for musicians but its worth going through the pain so we can
get to the States and Canada to make a special delivery of heavy
metal! We have been working toward this opportunity for a long time so
we plan on enjoying it! See you at the shows."

Matt's brother and EVILE lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:

"We're currently on our way to the States, plenty of heavy metal
image prejudice through the security. Can't wait to land in the
States, get into our new home and drive to the first show. Ready to
thrash the States for the first time!"

ORDER OF ENNEAD GOES BEHIND THE SCENES OF THEIR MUSIC NEW VIDEO

Kevin Quirion, guitarist/vocalist of the Tampa-based extreme metal act, ORDER OF ENNEAD has created a short clip that takes fans behind the scenes of their new music video for the song, "The Concept of Our Extinction." Familiar with every step of the process, Quirion gives a brief tour of the Advanced Media facility where it is being shot and edited. The clip also provides a small taste of what the finished video will bring. Quirion comments;

"First day of shooting went very well. The guys at Advanced Media are doing a great job at capturing the footage. I put together a little behind the scenes footage so you can see the entire process. WORMROT SIGNS TO EARACHE RECORDS, ANNOUNCES UK TOUR

Earache Records is proud to announce the signing of Singapore grindcore band
WORMROT.

WORMROT is a three-piece band formed in 2007 by schoolfriends Arif (vocals)
and Rasyid (guitars).  Completed by drummer Fitri, WORMROT take their love
of all things heavy and combine it into utterly pulverising,
classic-sounding grindcore.

Drawing on influences from such grindcore legends as INSECT WARFARE, WORMROT
recorded a number of EPs and splits, before recording their debut
full-length album, ABUSE.  Originally released by Scrotum Jus Records in May
2009, Earache Records is due to re-issue ABUSE with a 34 track bonus disc of
demos and unreleased material, in all of its punishing glory on April 12th,
2010, before WORMROT kick off a European tour.

YOUR DEMISE HELD, SEARCHED AT GUNPOINT AT CANADIAN BORDER

In an earlier press release, we had stated that nothing said "welcome to America" like getting tased. Apparently we were wrong. YOUR DEMISE guitarist, Stu Paice just posted a rather alarming story on the band's official Tumblr page about how the band was stopped at the Canadian border, searched and held at gunpoint by the police:

"As we headed our back into America from Canada, we decided to head to to Tim Hortons for the Last time before we entered the states.

Shortly after leaving, everyone was full of bagels and coffee, Drifting of to sleep, our rest was interrupted by the sound of 3 Canadian Police Cars. Sirens blasting, we pulled over completely baffled as to why we where being stopped as we had done nothing wrong.

So we stopped at the side of the free-way to the sound of, 'Driver, get out of the car now', at this point we had no clue what was going on. So danny gets out and they tell him to stick his hands up and turn around, walk toward the car, we then saw a Police man stick a Gun in Danny back and drag him to the car, Handcuff him and put him the back of the Police car. so we now mental stuff was going through our heads. Next they shouted for the passenger (Pumpjack)  to get out, Same thing, GUN, HANDCUFFS, CAR BONNET!.

We started to giggle nervously and heard, 'All of you , Get out', so we got out and we were told to put our hands in the air and get down on our knees, the whole time, we where held a Gunpoint by 2 Scumbags.

So we get out in the freezing snow, on the ground and the cop starts to search the van, i mean it was like 24 Jack Bauer shit.

They soon began clear, that they had the wrong people and found it to be a bit of a misunderstanding. So it turns out the car infront of us, well the driver had just shot someone, and we had basically just missed it happen. The Police where responding to it and thought it was us, when in theory they got the wrong car/van.

So an eventful last night in Canada

YOUR DEMISE HELD, SEARCHED AT GUNPOINT AT CANADIAN BORDER

In an earlier press release, we had stated that nothing said "welcome to
America" like getting tased. Apparently we were wrong. YOUR DEMISE
guitarist, Stu Paice just posted a rather alarming story on the band's
official Tumblr page about how the band was stopped at the Canadian border,
searched and held at gunpoint by the police:

"As we headed our back into America from Canada, we decided to head to to
Tim Hortons for the Last time before we entered the states.

Shortly after leaving, everyone was full of bagels and coffee, Drifting of
to sleep, our rest was interrupted by the sound of 3 Canadian Police Cars.
Sirens blasting, we pulled over completely baffled as to why we where being
stopped as we had done nothing wrong.

So we stopped at the side of the free-way to the sound of, ŒDriver, get out
of the car now¹, at this point we had no clue what was going on. So danny
gets out and they tell him to stick his hands up and turn around, walk
toward the car, we then saw a Police man stick a Gun in Danny back and drag
him to the car, Handcuff him and put him the back of the Police car. so we
now mental stuff was going through our heads. Next they shouted for the
passenger (Pumpjack) to get out, Same thing, GUN, HANDCUFFS, CAR BONNET!.

We started to giggle nervously and heard, ŒAll of you , Get out¹, so we got
out and we were told to put our hands in the air and get down on our knees,
the whole time, we where held a Gunpoint by 2 Scumbags.

So we get out in the freezing snow, on the ground and the cop starts to
search the van, i mean it was like 24 Jack Bauer shit.

They soon began clear, that they had the wrong people and found it to be a
bit of a misunderstanding. So it turns out the car infront of us, well the
driver had just shot someone, and we had basically just missed it happen.
The Police where responding to it and thought it was us, when in theory they
got the wrong car/van.

So an eventful last night in Canada

ORDER OF ENNEAD FRONTMAN EXPLAINS LYRICS FOR NEW ALBUM

Floridian extreme metallers ORDER OF ENNEAD have finished recording their
new album, AN EXAMINATION OF BEING.

AN EXAMINATION OF BEING features nine tracks which expand on the intensity
and complexity of the band's self-titled debut album.

ORDER OF ENNEAD vocalist/guitarist Kevin Quirion gives a track-by-track
explanation of the lyrics and themes of AN EXAMINATION OF BEING:

"I know most people don't read lyrics these days, but this is for the ones
who do. Order Of Ennead's new album, 'An Examination of Being', wasn't
intended to be a concept album, but since all of the subject matter is on
the same topic it lends itself to being one. Below is a brief description
of the lyrical content."

The Concept Of Our Extinction

This first track introduces the topic that¹s interwoven throughout the
entire album, the end of one¹s self. ³Time marches on, This known from
birth, We are all pawns, Such is the fate of man². With these words all is
touched upon, life to death, but the human mind has the need to explore
further the concepts of self and try to rationalize that which is existence.
³Filling the void as my life¹s destroyed, Acceptance of fate, Await the end
of time², touches on the topic that we find distractions to keep ourselves
occupied until these final days.

The Scriptures Of Purification

After accepting the inevitable end, some feel a need to purify the
conscience or cleanse the soul, if it exists. ³Call upon intuition, A voice
of purity, The scriptures of purification, Your being will guide the way²,
these words suggest listening to your inner voice for guidance. How many
times have you had that ³gut feeling² that you didn¹t listen to and ended up
regretting? ³Dissolve subjugation² is a reference to religion that will be
mentioned in the following track.

Lies Upon The Lips Of Judas

Any time life is examined religion seems to get mentioned. The name Judas
comes from the one who betrayed Jesus in the bible. This song turns the
table on the religions of the world by calling them Judas and Jesus gets
played by the masses. ³You will not deceive us² is repeated in the lyrics,
showing those that are ³believers² that we will not fall victim to their
lies and that they have no more of an explanation of existence then the next
cult. Judas has relevance to the Christian church, but this blankets all
religions.

This Mortal Journey

³The reason of creation, The purpose of life, Return of our creators,
Awaiting deliverance². Here we seek answers from the ones that came before
us. Maybe they had some knowledge that got lost? The Ennead is mentioned
here, but when they are referenced it puts a name to the ones that created
man and gave man knowledge and life. Ennead doesn¹t have a meaning to most
people and no ties like a word such as god. We are called Order Of Ennead,
but we don¹t worship the Ennead, that would be contradictory to all of the
subject matter.

...In The Mirror

³Stare at the sun so I can breathe, Shock myself back to reality². With all
of this contemplation it can way you down so our character has stared into
the sun to come out of this coma. He also stares at his reflection and
begins a journey inward. There are references to the living and deceased in
these lyrics and that is to remind the listener that even though this is ³An
Examination Of Self² that everyone that has ever lived goes through the same
journey.

An Examination Of Being

This is the title track of the album so therefore all of the ideas explored
on the album are touched upon. ³I examine my being and question faith, I
seek life¹s meaning and my place in it all². This is the mantra of an
agnostic. Some say that agnostics are atheists that can¹t commit, but this
is not true. Agnostics are those that have come to the conclusion that ³Man
can¹t know of existence, We lack the sight, the sight to see².

Conduits To Eternity

³Look past veil of time, Grasp finite to gain sight². This track explores
the idea of time, ubiquity and all that is in the universe. By being alive,
we are all part of the same collective. I know this concept ³isn¹t very
metal², but everything that is in existence is of the same beginning. ³Shed
the flesh, Embrace the collective². These words are saying that we are all
here and will all pass on, what seems important today will be a memory
tomorrow. When you imagine the Earth spinning in the darkness of space, you
have a tendency to look at life in a different perspective.

A Portal To Rapture

This track and the previous one go hand in hand lyrically. ³Avoid the light
or cease to grow² is another reference to religion. When seeking an
understanding of the universe, religion impedes your evolution. ³Release the
mind, Find inner meaning². These words come to the conclusion that no matter
how much exploring you do, you¹ll never find the final answer so come up
with something that makes you want to live on. ³Release the body, Leave
possessions behind². We aren¹t our possessions. We are more than the things
we own. Monetary wealth does not equal happiness.

A Betrayal Of Self

This is the last track on the album and uses the metaphor of clouds and
blackness as a reference to our fate. ³I try to live on, but my body
betrays². This is the main idea of the song. We have a want to live longer
then we can, but our body won¹t let us. It¹s betraying our intentions, our
self.

WHITE WIZZARD - UK TV PREMIER OF 'OVER THE TOP' VIDEO THIS WEEKEND

Los Angeles traditional heavy metal heroes WHITE WIZZARD's brand new music
video for the track "Over the Top" is set to premier on TV in the UK this
weekend.

"Over the Top" is the title-track off WHITE WIZZARD's debut full-length
album. The video was shot with director Dave Vorhes and sees the members of
WHITE WIZZARD trading their axes for guns as they turn into rugged outlaws
and bring true heavy metal to the wild west.

Fans of real heavy metal can catch the UK TV premier of "Over the Top" by
tuning into Scuzz TV's "Noise Pollution" program this Saturday, 20th
February at 9:09pm. The video will be shown again later that night in the

Floridian extreme metallers ORDER OF ENNEAD recently finished recording
their new album, AN EXAMINATION OF BEING, and have made the first new track
available for streaming.

The brand new song, "The Concept of Our Extinction", is the first track off
AN EXAMINATION OF BEING, and gives fans a taste of the intensity and
complexity that is to come on the album. ORDER OF ENNEAD are also filming a
music video for the song, which is being directed and produced by Advanced

EVILE CONFIRMED FOR HELLFEST

British thrashers EVILE have officially been confirmed for this years
Hellfest in France.

Hellfest is due to take place in Clisson, France, from the 18th-20th June.
EVILE are set to open the main stage of Hellfest on Friday, 18th June.

EVILE lead guitarist Ol Drake comments:

"We're just nearing completion of our Infecting Nations Euro tour and it's
been amazing so far. The Paris show was great, so we hope to continue more
of the same madness in Clisson!

"We absolutely cannot wait to get to Hellfest, and we're so thankful they've

MUNICIPAL WASTE frontman TONY FORESTA has become the latest columnist for

Well-known for his onstage antics, the singer for Virginian crossover

business coupled with his adventures in day-to-day life to write a brand new

TONY FORESTA comments:

"My good friends behind the FBM bike company recently launched a website
based around BMX, art and music. I love all those things and I really like
their approach at how they handle the FBM company, and I really wanted to be
a part of it in some way.

"I decided I would contribute a music column for the site. I'm just going
to write about things and bands that I find interesting and hopefully
introduce people to a lot of cool things they may not ever hear about.

BONDED BY BLOOD ISSUES STUDIO UPDATE

Pomona, CA thrashers, BONDED BY BLOOD recently began recording the long-awaited follow-up to their 2008 debut, FEED THE BEAST. The band has set up camp in Phoenix, AZ to record their new album at Highland Recorders with producer, Ralph Patlan (WHITE WIZZARD, MEGADETH, UFO).  

The band has been keeping a regular studio blog on their MySpace page and posted a update on the 9th about what they've been recording:

"Today is day 4 and have a day off today after couple days of hard work. Began tracking rhythm tracks last night and will go back into the studio tomorrow morning to finish them up. Everything seems to be coming out really well. Look out for more updates on the album, more pictures and footage coming soon."

MUNICIPAL WASTE GETTING READY FOR SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR

Having just completed a highly successful run in the UK/Europe, Richmond, VA crossover leaders, MUNICIPAL WASTE are headed straight back onto the road this March for a number of dates in South America. "South America has always been on our list of places to spread the Waste;" says guitarist, Ryan Waste. "I know how passionate the crowds are about heavy music down there and we're going to deliver. I'm prepared for some wild shows to ensue." 

This being their first major tour of the continent, MUNICIPAL WASTE cannot wait to go and meet some of the wild fans who have waited a long time to see them.
