British rock 'n' rollers THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT have announced a string of live acoustic shows, set to take place throughout Scotland in March.
The band played three special acoustic shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow in December, and due to popular demand, have decided to extend the events into more cities and towns which sometimes get missed out on major tours.
The intimate shows give fans the rare opportunity to witness THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT performing acoustic versions of some of their biggest hits, including songs from their latest album, 'White Bear', which was released in January 2016 and went straight to number one in the UK Rock Chart.

SLEEP: "SLEEP'S HOLY MOUNTAIN" LIMITED EDITION PURPLE FDR VINYL OUT NOW
'Sleep's Holy Mountain', the classic 1992 album from Californian stoner rock legends SLEEP, has been reissued on Full Dynamic Range vinyl and is out now.
The album was first remastered in 2015 from the original tapes in Full Dynamic Range (FDR) audio, allowing the music's nuances to shine through and giving the whole album a more ferocious sound than ever before. After quickly selling out, fans around the world have been clamouring for a repressing, and are now able to get the album once again on a new, limited edition purple vinyl pressing.

"Whenever we would speak with anyone, the first question was always about the election. I'm in a band with Chuck D and Tom Morello right now, and both of those guys have a very poignant opinion on things. I was as much a student as I was, sometimes, a teacher. I know that music can change people because I'm different right now. I would not be the person that I am today if it were not for music, and for being around Zack de la Rocha and Tom Morello, being around the left-of-centre politics that I've been exposed to."

Alongside the EP is a short film documenting WAKRAT's time in London last July when they pulled off one of the most audacious protest acts in the history of punk... starting a new sovereign state, the 'Republic of Wakrat' on Parliament's front lawn in protest at the failing global systems.

The fact that this new live EP and docu-video has dropped on the day of Trump's inauguration is no coincidence:
"I hear so many people right now, like 'Oh, you know, he's going to change the country' and blah blah blah, and all this bullshit. But the fact of the matter is the reason people voted for him is the 18% decrease in taxes. That's it, that's what it's all about - it's all about the money. People want more money, and that's the reason why things like this happen. That's why it went down this way, and that's why we have a very scary situation here. I was saying this when they were running - and I've heard other people say it too - that he's like Adolf Hitler. He is Adolf Hitler. He's fucking Adolf Hitler. And He. Is. Scary. All of us should be really scared, and all of us should be prepared for the worst."
Tim Commerford went on to send this message to his fellow Americans:
"America - they say we're divided, and you look at how close the result was, and we are. I just hope that the 49 million people that voted for Hillary, and the other millions that voted for other people, continue to take to the streets and protest. Maybe something great will happen from that; that's my hope. To me, it means make more music. Music is the platform I've always used for activism, so this lights a fire underneath me to make more music, and try to politicise people with that music."

THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT RELEASE 'LIVE BEAR' EP FEATURING "ZIGGY STARDUST" COVER
British rock 'n' rollers THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT have teamed up with streaming service Deezer for the release of an exclusive new live EP.
The 'Live Bear' EP was recorded at the band's London show during their January 2016 European tour, and features five tracks including a stunning rendition of David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" in honour of the late icon.
THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT frontman Phil Campbell comments:
"January 2016 was an exciting time for The Temperance Movement. We released our second album and embarked on a nationwide UK tour with The Sheepdogs, playing to 2000 people a night in some of the best venues in the country. The tracks on this EP were recorded at The Forum in London on Wednesday, 27th January, the final date of the tour. Although all the nights were recorded, this was by far the best. We opened the show that night with David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' in honour of the great man from Beckenham who passed the week before our tour started. His death rocked the world and we felt it at our shows with calls from fans to play one of his songs, but we held back until London. That version is included here and we're very proud to share it on the first anniversary of his passing. Thank you to all who attended those shows. It was an exhilarating experience which I'll never forget."

Nashville-based artist Danny Worsnop has unveiled a brand new track “Anyone But Me” via TheBoot.com. THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT ANNOUNCE UK ACOUSTIC SHOWS
British rock 'n' rollers THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT have announced three UK acoustic shows, which will take place this December.
The intimate shows will see the band playing acoustic versions of some of their biggest hits, including songs from their latest album, 'White Bear', which was released in January this year and went straight to number one in the UK Rock Chart.
The band comments: "In December we will be heading out to play some very special acoustic shows. Come and join us playing some very different versions of our songs, in three small and intimate venues."

SINGAPOREAN GRINDCORE TRIO WORMROT SPEAK OUT OVER CONCERNS OF TOURING DONALD TRUMP'S AMERICA
Singapore grindcore outfit WORMROT have expressed "disbelief and concern" over Donald Trump's election and the problems which might face them entering the United States for their upcoming 2017 tour dates. WORMROT hail from Singapore (a country with a large Muslim population) and play a blistering brand of grindcore - a genre notorious for being highly politicised - with latest album 'Voices' featuring tracks such as "The 1st World Syndrome", "Fake Moral Machine" and "Compassion Is Dead". Donald Trump infamously called for "a complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States" during his election campaign.
WORMROT guitarist Rasyid said:
"I'm still in disbelief that this actually happened. How did they get the pre-election estimates so wrong? Didn't he sabotage himself out of the race numerous times? Throughout the whole campaign you hear nothing but how he fucked himself over with the shameless things he's said, accompanied by violent repercussions and reactions from his own supporters, and yet here we are looking at an almost 50/50 hairline (hah) win.
"We're a little concerned how it's gonna affect our well-being, but a little part of me wants to experience America as it is right now. Who knows, we might be deported back upon arrival (some people back home would be happy to see that) but we shouldn't cower at the first sign of danger. Things have gotten more interesting to say the least. It's like an episode of Black Mirror, proving that reality can be scarier than fiction.
"We wish all Americans to stay safe and keep a lookout for each other, especially your friends of colour and LGBTQ. Never discount their experiences, never say they're overreacting. You can't see or imagine mental scars and how it'll negatively affect individuals in the long run. The least you can do for each other now is to listen.
"I've learned from living in Singapore that you don't have to love your country to protect the ones you love. Whatever's happening in your country, whoever is elected to run/ruin the nation, your devotion is to your friends and family."
WORMROT are due to tour the USA in May/June, including an appearance at Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore.

MASSIVE KICK OFF "ROUND 2" OF UK TOUR TOMORROW
Aussie rockers MASSIVE are due to kick off their second round of UK tour dates tomorrow (Saturday, November 12th) in support of their new album, 'Destination Somewhere'.

The band wrapped up their first round of UK shows in October on the "Aussie Wrecking Crew" tour, and will start the second leg with a performance at Hard Rock Hell on Saturday, before launching into a string of co-headlining dates with THE BAD TOUCH. MASSIVE will then support THE TREATMENT at four UK shows just before Christmas.

RIVAL SONS ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR
Long Beach, California's RIVAL SONS have announced dates for a European headlining tour which is due to kick off in January 2017.
After spending much of this year supporting the legendary BLACK SABBATH on "The End" tour, RIVAL SONS will once again be joining the retiring rockers across Europe and the UK as they play their final ever shows. RIVAL SONS will also be playing a few headlining gigs in between their shows with BLACK SABBATH, before kicking their headlining tour into full swing in February.
