British shred-heavy metallers SAVAGE MESSIAH have been confirmed for this year's edition of Hammerfest, which is due to be held from 15th - 18th March in Prestatyn, Wales.
Having already performed at the festival before, SAVAGE MESSIAH are now the latest band to be confirmed for Hammerfest IV, joining a line-up that includes the likes of ANTHRAX, SKINDRED, AMON AMARTH, CEREBRAL BORE and more.
SAVAGE MESSIAH frontman DAVID SILVER comments:
"It's fantastic for the band to have been asked back to Hammerfest for the second time - we had a great time last time, but now with a new album to promote, it's going to be even better!! We're on late, but that's not going to matter - we'll be getting the final circle pits of the festival going and we're looking forward to kickin' ass!!!"

EVILE POST UPDATE FROM EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR
British thrashers EVILE recently kicked off a headlining European tour in support of their critically-acclaimed new album, FIVE SERPENT'S TEETH.
The band are two weeks into their tour of mainland Europe with support from PORTRAIT and DR. LIVING DEAD, and have nine shows remaining before they return to the UK for a special show as part of HMV's Next Big Thing.

CEREBRAL BORE CONFIRM UK TOUR WITH SUFFOCATION
Scottish death metallers CEREBRAL BORE have confirmed a UK tour supporting US death metal titans SUFFOCATION.
The "Reborn of Death" 2012 European tour is scheduled to kick off on March 13th in London, just days after CEREBRAL BORE finish up a North American trek with GOATWHORE and HATE ETERNAL. Also joining CEREBRAL BORE and SUFFOCATION are CATTLE DECAPITATION, HATE, BLOOD RED THRONE and SEPHIRAH.
CEREBRAL BORE guitarist PAUL MCGUIRE comments:

CAULDRON ADD MORE DATES TO UPCOMING EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR
Canadian heavy metal trio CAULDRON have added a number of new shows to their upcoming European headlining tour, dubbed "Burning Europe 2012".
CAULDRON are due to kick off the tour on February 24th in Bielefeld, Germany, with support for the tour coming from fellow Canadians STRIKER. The newly-added dates include shows in Hamburg (Germany), Marseille (France) and Torello (Spain).
CAULDRON vocalist and bassist JASON DECAY comments:
"We're happy to announce that we're finally coming back for Burning Europe 2012! We got told about Christmas time that we had to come do a promo tour, so we said 'fuck you man, we gotta get out there and do some gigs'! And the Canadian content is strong on this one; we're doing this with fellow Canadian metalers Striker. It's gonna be a full-on Canadian Assault, so get used to it! I'm looking forward to the shit-ledge toilets as well."

RIVAL SONS "TORTURE" NOW AVAILABLE ON ROCK BAND FOR PS3
"Torture", the hit song from Californian blues-rockers RIVAL SONS' 2011 self-titled EP, is available now for the Rock Band video game on PS3.
The track, which was made available on XBox 360 last year, can now be found on the Rock Band Network for both consoles, allowing players to rock out to the popular track on guitar, bass, drums and vocals.
RIVAL SONS guitarist SCOTT HOLIDAY comments:
"It's great to have our song 'Torture' be included in the extensive 'Rock Band' catalogue! I'm pretty interested to see what buttons you hit to get through my 'dying animal' guitar solo. We'll likely be putting it to test on the bus... right after we conquer Galaga, DigDug, and Dance Dance Revolution."

EVILE, CEREBRAL BORE & SAVAGE MESSIAH PREPARE FOR HMV NEXT BIG THING SHOW
British thrashers EVILE, death metallers CEREBRAL BORE and heavy metal maestros SAVAGE MESSIAH are gearing up for a night of metal mayhem as part of HMV's Next Big Thing tour.
HMV's Next Big Thing showcases and celebrates the very best in new and emerging talent, with EVILE, CEREBRAL BORE and SAVAGE MESSIAH teaming up for a one-off show on Saturday, 11th February at the HMV Ritz in Manchester.
The show is open to ages 14+ and tickets for this unmissable event cost just £10, with no booking fee charged.
