British rock 'n' rollers THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT are proud to announce their brand new studio album, 'White Bear'.

Due to be released on January 15th, 2016, the eagerly-anticipated follow-up to their 2013 self-titled debut was recorded with producer Sam Miller in London, Northamptonshire and Monmouth and features 10 stomping new blues-rock anthems.  The band will support 'White Bear' with a UK tour which kicks off the day after the album's release.

Guitarist, Paul Sayer confides, "White Bear is a real step on for us sonically and artistically.  Playing so many shows together over the last 3 years allowed us to develop a really clear idea of where we wanted to go with our next record.  When it came to making this album we had a bit more time and space to let our creativity go, and I'm incredibly proud of what we achieved."

Whilst on the album title, 'White Bear', singer Phil Campbell notes, "Nick called me with the title which inspired the lyric to the song.  It refers to a study by Daniel Wenger on mindfulness and the controlling of unwanted thoughts, testing a quote from Dostoevsky's 'Winter Notes on Summer Impressions': 'Try to pose for yourself this task: not to think of a polar bear, and you will see that the cursed thing will come to mind every minute.'"

'White Bear' track listing:

1. Three Bulleits
2. Get Yourself Free
3. A Pleasant Peace I Feel
4. Modern Massacre
5. Battle Lines
6. White Bear
7. Oh Lorraine
8. Magnify
9. The Sun and Moon Roll Around Too Soon
10. I Hope I'm Not Losing My Mind

Tickets on sale Friday at 9am

Watch the introduction to the band ‘Kagoule and The Gang.’

NME ★★★★ “…never anything short of exhilarating“
MOJO ★★★★ “Superior grunge schooled rock…”
Kerrang! ★★★★ “… the potential here is terrifying”
Rock Sound ★★★★   “… impressively confident and well realized”

Kagoule have announced their first full UK headline tour for November/December this year. Nottingham’s notorious live performers will embark on a 18 date tour of the UK giving fans the chance to experience tracks from the critically acclaimed debut album “Urth” which charted at #8 in the Official UK Album Vinyl Charts and was joyously received by both fans and the press including rave reviews in MOJO, Clash, NME, Kerrang!, DiS and RockSound plus an honourable inclusion in the Rough Trade Album Club.

Prior to the UK headline tour, the highly rated three piece will also be heading across the Atlantic for a couple of NYC gigs before taking their unmistakable Alt-Rock sound around mainland Europe including a host of dates supporting Sub Pop Grungers METZ.

To celebrate the tour announcement Kagoule have also offered up two new live tracks from Urth which were recorded for John Kennedy in an XFM Session back in July and are available to stream right now for free on sound cloud.

Frontman and lyricist Cai Burns said:  “We are readying the ship as I speak. Lawrenci The Hands has made ingenious advancements to our vessel which will allow us to travel considerably farther than what we thought possible only a month ago. This morning at sunrise the Sea Dogs spoke with the Sea Gods. They seem to be in a pleasant mood and have given their divine word that no harm will befall us. The children of the waters will not toy with life on this voyage. We will be with you soon. May you continue in good health and spirits.”

The band have consistently impressed live, and developed something of a fearsome live reputation having shared stages with acts including The Who, Johhny Marr, Sleaford Mods, The Wytches, Iceage, METZ, Sebadoh and Drenge plus a performance at Glastonbury Festival.
You can listen to the new XFM Session tracks (Mike and Glue) right now on Sound Cloud:
