'Back To The Future', the witty Irishmen will be updating their personal
blog frequently, undoubtedly providing a good few giggles to get you through
the Winter.

THE BOY WILL DROWN POST STUDIO REPORT

British technical metallers THE BOY WILL DROWN are currently in the studio
recording their first ever album.

The band, who recently signed a multi-album, worldwide recording deal with
Earache Records, are following in the footsteps of their idols DECAPITATED,
having entered Hertz Studios in Bialystok, Poland to record their as-yet
untitled debut album.

The band comments: "Drums are all done, just a small bit of editing left to
do. They're faster and played harder than in the MySpace tracks prior. The
sound that the Hertz bros. have got is incredible. Doesn't stop there!!!
On the 4th guitar track now and we've also laid down some vocals.

"All in it's shaping up to be one hell of a sound and album. So far we're
proper happy with how everything's going and hope it carries on as
productively as it has been!"

Having only formed in 2006, THE BOY WILL DROWN are currently regarded as one
of the most flamboyant and intense bands in the UK. Playing a vicious blend
of technical and experimental music based around grindcore and death metal,
the band do everything in their power to mesmerise and pulverise the
listener, whilst simultaneously injecting an element of humour, fun and
youth into their music.

Check out some tracks from THE BOY WILL DROWN at the band's MySpace page at

After completing recording for their debut album, THE BOY WILL DROWN will be

ORDER OF ENNEAD INTERVIEW ON ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC

Alex Gilbert of All About The Music recently had the opportunity to
chat with Kevin Quirion and Steve Asheim of ORDER OF ENNEAD. Beginning
with the band's transformation from COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN to all
things surrounding the creation of ORDER OF ENNEAD's self-titled debut
and the ever-increasing connection to death metal legends, DEICIDE,
there was no stone left unturned in this interview with members of the
masterfully introspective extreme metal act.

Kevin Quirion on ORDER OF ENNEAD's writing process: "As far as writing
goes, I'll bring a near finished song to Steve at the practice space.
He'll add his drums and we sometimes change the structure or add this
and that to make it flow better. Then we'll record the drums with just
a scratch guitar and listen to it for a couple of days. After we have
enough songs for an album we will record the drums again, but this
time by themselves. Then I go over to Scott's and record the guitars.
Scott will then add his bass and come up with some clever fills. Then
the vocals are added. I usually have to lyrics written way in advance.
Then we bring in John Li to add some solo themes and get some ideas.
The solos that go onto the final CD version usually are created in the
studio with parts of ideas and themes taken from the demo, but
sometimes they are totally spontaneous."

GAMA BOMB POST END-OF-TOUR REPORT

Irish thrashers GAMA BOMB recently spent over a month storming their way
across Europe on the Thrashing Like A Maniac tour along with LA shredders
BONDED BY BLOOD and UK openers SWORN AMONGST.

After tearing it up in every corner of Europe, the bands are now home and
have had some time to recover and to look back at their recent journey.

GAMA BOMB frontman PHILLY BYRNE comments on the tour:

"We've finally reached the end of our European tour with Bonded By Blood and
Sworn Amongst, which took in 34 shows in 11 countries, 40,000 miles on the
clock in a tourbus with 18 people aboard, chugging through something like
180 litres of diesel over the course of five weeks and five days. Along the
way there were torn ligaments, damaged vocal chords, a suspected broken ass
bone, about 12 cases of the common cold, a few outbreaks of alcohol
poisoning and more bruises, cuts, scrapes and mysterious injuries than we
care to count.

"We played in two haunted clubs, complete with a ghost that didn't want us
to use the shower, a former Greek restaurant with murals of the Parthenon, a
biker-controlled backstreet bar, a black metal meeting house, a classic car
workshop, a converted slaughterhouse, dockside pubs, a couple of youth
clubs, drug dens, shit holes and palaces too. We're not clear on how many
guitar strings we used, but it pales in comparison to the amount of beers we
drank. Also, we have no idea how many people we played to, but it was
excellent all the same, as we're starting to meet people who wear our shirts
to the show. Nice."

ORDER OF ENNEAD - THRASH MAGAZINE INTERVIEWS KEVIN QUIRION

ORDER OF ENNEAD guitarist/vocalist, Kevin Quirion was recently
interviewed by Thrash Magazine about all things regarding the band's
explosive self-tittled debut which hits the states on November 11th.
Many bases were covered including the roles of each unique personality
within ORDER OF ENNEAD, what it was like to work with producer Mark
Lewis, their upcoming date with MUNICIPAL WASTE and much more.

Kevin Quirion on some of the things that make ORDER OF ENNEAD stand
out from most metal bands today: "The lyrical content is definitely
different for black metal and death metal. There is no gore or satanic
related material which is all over the scene. There is a lot of
variety on the album. From the fast black metal of "Conferring With
Demons" and "Dismantling An Empire" to the more death metal of "The
Culling" to the grooves of "As Long As I Have Myself I Am Not Alone"
and "A Cry To The Perilous Sun". There should be something for fans
of all metal genres to feast upon."

EVILE REPORT FROM CANADIAN TOUR WITH 3 INCHES OF BLOOD

UK thrashers EVILE, who are currently thrashing up the West coast of Canada
with Canadian metallers 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, have posted a tour report from
the last leg of the tour.

EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE reports from the road:

"So we're pretty far into the 3 Inches of Blood tour, and it's been awesome
so far. On top of 3IoB being great guys and a great band, the scenery on
this tour is mind blowing. We definitely have to come back to Canada. The
Canadian fans are mental (in a good way), everyone's going crazy. The first
show had one guy's face being bust open, there was blood everywhere (I
wonder how many inches of it there were).

"Some guy came up to us at the merch stand and said "I downloaded your
album, so here's 10 dollars", which was awesome, after we kicked his head in
(joking). We played at a venue called the Royal Albert Hotel in Winnipeg.
Got to say the Winnipeg crowd were metal as hell. But even better than that
was Room 309. Apparently some guy chopped some guy's head and limbs off and
disembowelled him. They never found the entrails. Also something about him
stealing Susan Sarrandon's jewellery. I dunno. Google it. I have a
picture of me in the bath tub where he gutted him. I'm metal/cursed.

"Thank you to all our Canadian fans who came to check us out, and all the
new fans we've made. We'll definitely be back!"

Catch EVILE on their last two Canadian shows with 3 INCHES OF BLOOD:

26 Oct 2008 - Calgary, AB - Warehouse
27 Oct 2008 - Fernie, BC - Rockin' R Bar, Royal Hotel

To celebrate a year since its original release, EVILE's ripping debut album
ENTER THE GRAVE has been reissued as a special redux edition and is

RASMUSSEN-produced (METALLICA) modern thrash masterpiece features the album

GRAVE patch, a guitar pick and a DVD. Clocking in at 2 hours, this
exclusive DVD features the band playing the entire ENTER THE GRAVE album
live in rehearsal, plus live footage from the band's European tour with

EPHEL DUATH RELEASE BRAND NEW SONG

Italian avant-garde metallers EPHEL DUATH have released a brand new song
from their upcoming new album, THROUGH MY DOG'S EYES.

The song, titled "Guardian" is available for streaming now at the band's
MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/ephelduath

EPHEL DUATH has never been one to take the traditional approach to creating
music and their latest effort takes this outlook even further. THROUGH MY
DOG'S EYES is based on a bizarre concept conjured up by guitarist and
founding member DAVIDE TISO, in which the entire album is written from the
perspective of a dog. TISO explains: "I wrote a few short stories and it
was really fun for me to imagine myself as a dog and to imagine the world
from a dog's perspective. The challenge was to translate the words into
lyrics."

From opening track 'Gift', which TISO describes as being about "A cat that
the dog kills for the owner as a gift, and he asks the owner if he is happy
with the present," to the thought-provoking 'Promenade', a song about a walk
in the park which takes a twist when the owner questions why he's not as
carefree and happy with life as his dog is, the barking mad brilliance runs
throughout the course of the whole album. "Every song is a window into the
dog's mind or an event," TISO continues, "The album touches on a lot of
things, both deep and sometimes silly."

The artwork for THROUGH MY DOG'S EYES was created by SELDON HUNT (NEUROSIS,
ISIS, SUNN0)))) and can be viewed at
http://earacherecords.com/myspace/EphelDuath_TMDE.jpg

THROUGH MY DOG'S EYES is due to be released through Earache Records on
January 26th, 2009.

OCEANO POSTS VIDEO UPDATE FROM THE STUDIO

During a break from recording their February debut, DEPTHS, Chicago
deathcore heavyweights OCEANO put together a special video update.
Currently in the midst of recording guitars for the upcoming album,
OCEANO takes you behind the mixing boards for a candid, yet goofy look
at what they've been doing so far with footage from the drum recording
sessions and shots of the band hanging out around the studio. It all
ends with a special message from OCEANO guitarist, Andrew Mikhail who
spills the beans on possible tour plans and much more. Watch the
special studio video update here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFfsqGi5KMA

ANDREW MIKHAIL, guitarist for OCEANO - the band who famously had a
series of
photos BANNED from MySpace for being too gruesome - comments on the
band's
first week in the studio: "Things have been going great here. Drums are
done and we're currently in the process of mixing them, then we begin
the
rest of the tracking next week. So for now, we're lifting weights,
booking
tours, and playing N64 while we wait. It's still a little early to
give a
lot of update, but the album is coming along smoothly and sounding
great."

And just incase you had any doubts about it, MIKHAIL finishes, "We're
most
definitely shooting for this CD to be one of the heaviest and darkest
CDs
around!"

DEPTHS, the debut album from OCEANO, is being recorded with producer
JOEY
STURGIS (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE) at The Foundation
Studios in Connersville, Indiana, and will feature artwork from COLIN
MARKS
(STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, ABORTED, WHITECHAPEL).

Due to be released in early 2009, DEPTHS will contain 13 tracks of the
angriest deathcore cuts ever committed to record, alongside a limited
edition bonus DVD, and will also be available as a limited edition
version
with 2 exclusive bonus tracks. The track listing for DEPTHS is as
follows:

01. Descent
02. Inhuman Affliction
03. Empathy For Leviathan
04. Plague Campaign
05. Fractured Frames, Scattered Flesh
06. Disgust For Your Kind
07. Depths
08. District Of Misery
09. With Legions
10. Slaughtered Like Swine
