THE WHITE BUFFALO aka singer/songwriter Jake Smith kicks off his headline UK tour tonight - Thursday, 19th January - in Bristol.  A force of nature on stage and a nuanced songwriter, Jake shows a rough tenderness on his more leisurely narratives, resulting in comparisons to Johnny Cash, Eddie Vedder and Steve Earle.

The tour coincides with the release of a number of THE WHITE BUFFALO's back-catalogue titles, which are being made widely available in Europe for the first time, the first being 'Once Upon a Time in the West' - twelve tracks of hard-driving blues and outlaw country tales.  Watch the video for "Wish It Was True" at

Led by singer/songwriter Jake Smith, THE WHITE BUFFALO is probably best known for his numerous song placements in the TV series Sons of Anarchy, including the series finale song "Come Join the Murder", which was co-written with series producer Kurt Sutter and nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Music and Lyrics.
