DUB WAR, which featured vocalist BENJI WEBBE of SKINDRED, released two genre-defining albums in the late '90s. Now, 'THE DUB, THE WAR & THE UGLY' is being released to celebrate the band's influential career, with a CD of exclusive and unreleased tracks, as well as a newly recorded documentary DVD.
DUB WAR and SKINDRED vocalist BENJI WEBBE recently commented:
"For the short time we were a band I know we made a lasting impact on a lot of lives. This release gives a chance to all those who missed us back then to see exactly what we had and why people still talk about Dub War."
'THE DUB, THE WAR & THE UGLY' contains a CD featuring twelve rare and previously unreleased DUB WAR tracks, including three songs from the band's unreleased third album. The DVD features a brand new documentary filmed in 2010, which gives a detailed history of the band from start to finish, including in-depth interviews with all key members of the band. The DVD also contains a full live set filmed at the London Astoria on January 10th, 1998, as well as all six promotional music videos from the band.

IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION & AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH INVOLVED IN CRASH, FORCED TO CANCEL TOUR
British death metal act IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION have been forced to cancel their headlining European tour with Detroit deathcore destroyers AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH after the bands' tour van crashed.
After a strong start to the tour, a few of the shows in mainland Europe fell through with promoters, so the bands had decided to head back to the UK to continue with the tour there and add some more shows.
Whilst driving through France on their way back to Calais, the van carrying the members of both IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION and AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH was involved in a crash on the motorway. All members are thankfully alive and well, although some had to be taken to hospital for injuries such as broken bones.
IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION bassist CHRIS BALL comments:
"Hey guys, sorry the tour got cut short but due to a major incident we are unable to do any shows for a while, we are all ok and still going strong. Up until the incident we had been enjoying the tour and have made some great friends in the process.
"We will be back as soon as we're all 100% fit enough to take to the stage again. In the mean time just keep your eyes and ears peeled for us hitting the studio at some point and new tour dates. Thanks."
AND HELL FOLLOWED WITH guitarist KYLE McILMURRAY describes the incident:
"Basically we were making a late night drive back to the UK when we nicked a semi truck and got sent like a pinball down the freeway. Most of us sustained minor injuries compared to the guys in Ignom... Thankfully we're all alive. We'll take back pain over death any day.
"The injuries and damage were so intense that we were forced to cancel the remainder of the tour and head back home. We are so thankful to have had such a great time with the guys in the other bands and play the shows that we did. Words cannot describe how bummed we are that we didn't get to finish it up. We've never backed out on a tour like this.. But unfortunately it was out of our hands.
"Now that we're home with our families and safe we're going to get ready for the road in September with Suffokate and The Red Shore.. It will most certainly be a banger!"

MUNICIPAL WASTE ANNOUNCES NEW EUROPEAN TOUR
Richmond, Virginia's MUNICIPAL WASTE have announced dates for a new European tour this December.
MUNICIPAL WASTE will be making their way around Europe, including a run of UK shows, with support from Californian metallers SAVIOURS and Boston crossover thrashers RAMMING SPEED.
MUNICIPAL WASTE drummer DAVE WITTE comments:
"I can't wait to get back to the UK/Europe in December. We have some killer bands coming with us. Saviours and Ramming Speed make this one hell of a package. Seeing as we had to sit out the summer dates, it will be about 10 months since we've been to the UK/Europe, for the first time in about 5 years... So, no worries people, we're making good on ourselves and will return full speed ahead!"

SAVAGE MESSIAH SIGNS TO EARACHE RECORDS
British thrashers SAVAGE MESSIAH have signed a worldwide, multi-album deal with Earache Records.
Formed in London, England in 2007, SAVAGE MESSIAH self-released their debut album, SPITTING VENOM, in 2007 to positive reviews. In 2009 the band entered the studio with acclaimed Grammy-nominated producer CHRIS TSANGARIDES (JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH, THIN LIZZY, BRUCE DICKINSON) to record their second album, INSURRECTION RISING. The album was mixed by SCOTT ATKINS (GAMA BOMB, SYLOSIS, IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION). The band is currently working on its third album, due to be released on Earache Records in 2011.

"We are very proud and excited to sign with Earache Records. This is an exciting time for Savage Messiah as we are currently writing our new album, and hope to be on tour soon to present the new material.

EVILE POSTS TOUR UPDATE AHEAD OF BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL
British thrashers EVILE are currently doing the summer festival rounds in Europe ahead of a huge three-month North American trek.
EVILE has just a few shows left this month, including an appearance on the Ronnie James Dio main stage at the UK's Bloodstock festival this weekend, before the massive tour that will see the band team up with the likes of OVERKILL, FORBIDDEN, DRI, BONDED BY BLOOD, GAMA BOMB and EARLY MAN.
EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE updates:
"We just got back from playing two festivals in Europe which both kicked arse. Up first was Wacken. We'd been waiting to play this for years, and we finally got there. What a place! We played to a packed tent of great metalheads (thank you again for watching our set). It was a tough as hell set to play; every time a pit broke out, the dust and dirt would come onto the stage. We all had black teeth, couldn't breathe and all our gear is now brown. Metal! First shower I've had where the water going down the drain is pure black. Thank you Wacken!
"Then we ventured to good old Belgium to play Alcatraz Metal Fest. We headlined the second stage and had a blast. The crew and crowd were great and friendly. Other than Kreator having to lend us their airport shuttle from a big mix-up, everything was awesome!
"Up next we have what I'd call our 'home festival', Bloodstock Open Air. Without Bloodstock I don't think we'd be where we are today, so we'll always have a special place for it. Can't wait to get there and pound some Bloodstock metal yet again! See you all there!"

EVILE GUITARIST AND METAL HAMMER EDITOR TO BUNGEE JUMP FOR CHARITY
In March 2010, EVILE's OL DRAKE issued the following statement upon realising his band had been nominated for a Metal Hammer Golden God award:
"If we win, I promise we will do a bungee jump, dressed as cowboys. I'm writing that without checking if anyone else will do it, but that's how I roll. But I definitely will."
Four months later, Metal Hammer Golden God award in hand, OL and EVILE are facing up to the consequences of that statement. OL DRAKE, lead guitarist of EVILE and recipient of Metal Hammer Golden Gods "Metal As Fuck" award, will bungee jump for charity dressed as a cowboy. Accompanying him will be ALEXANDER MILAS, editor of Metal Hammer magazine and winner of 2009 "PPA Editor of the Year" award.

OL DRAKE will be jumping in aid of the British Lung Foundation, in memory of late EVILE bassist MIKE ALEXANDER. The British Lung Foundation are the only UK charity that helps people with any lung condition. There are 8 million people in this country with lung disease - whether it's pneumonia, asthma, COPD, or lung cancer, the charity strives to be there for them and their loved ones. "I remember when we were nominated for Best UK Band at the Metal Hammer awards. We were up against Judas Priest, so naturally I thought there's no competition there. I thought, why not make a ridiculous statement that won't happen, because we can't, and shouldn't, beat Judas Priest. I said I would bungee jump dressed as a cowboy if we won an award at the Golden Gods.
"Little did I know we would win the 'Metal as Fuck' award. I'm a man of my word, so I'm going to do it along with Metal Guru and MH Editor, Alexander Milas. Instead of it just being some silly joke, I thought it would be great to make this a jump for charity, and that's why I want to help raise awareness for the British Lung Foundation in memory of our late bassist, Mike Alexander, who passed away from a pulmonary embolism last year."

GODFLESH - "STREETCLEANER" DELUXE EDITION OUT NOW IN NORTH AMERICA
STREETCLEANER, the seminal 1989 album from British industrial metal pioneers GODFLESH, has been reissued and is out now in North America.
GODFLESH's second release, STREETCLEANER proved to be one of the band's most successful albums, cementing their status as one of the most influential industrial bands ever. STREETCLEANER has now been reissued as a special expanded edition, with all tracks remastered by GODFLESH founding member JUSTIN BROADRICK. "So far this tour has been amazing! Everyone on this tour is awesome, we all have great enthusiasm for each show and we are all feeding off each other's enthusiasm and getting hugely pumped! It's fun to show And Hell Followed With and Honour Is Dead how the Europeans do it when it comes to metal shows and partying.
"AHFW have showed us a couple of card games and also a crazy drinking game which I won't explain here, but if you're at one of our shows and hear 'BUFFALO' you know someone has just had to chug a big drink!
"We are getting a great reaction to all our new material which is awesome, even people that aren't familiar with it still bang their heads and pit to it which is sick and has made us even more excited for recording our next album.
"There's been some serious drunken after-parties over in mainland Europe as well (of course this is kept at a very professional level!) 'cause these Europeans have been showing us what's what when drinking and through this we have met some crazy characters. Especially a BIG shout out to Mario in Italy who was great to us over at the Italian shows!
"We're really looking forward to the rest of this tour and it'll be a huge shame when it's ended, but for now thank you to everyone who has come to a show, and everyone else coming to the shows, you will not be let down!! TIME TO GO PARTY!"

GAMA BOMB ANNOUNCES HEADLINING EUROPEAN TOUR, STAND-IN GUITARIST
Irish thrashers GAMA BOMB have confirmed a headlining European tour for September, before the band heads to North America in October for a two-month trek with the likes of OVERKILL, FORBIDDEN, DRI, EVILE and BONDED BY BLOOD.
GAMA BOMB will kick off the "Graveyard Disturbance" tour on September 16th in Nijmegen, Netherlands, with support for the tour coming from Danish metal award winners CROCELL.
GAMA BOMB bassist JOE McGUIGAN comments:
"We're seriously looking forward to the GRAVEYARD DISTURBANCE TOUR: it's been a while since we kicked over some tombstones in Europe. We'll be touring in a slightly different incarnation, though, as our lead guitar player Domo 'The Kid' Dixon will be sitting out touring for the rest of 2010 to concentrate on personal stuff.
"Our pal and original guitbox player Kevy Canavan, who played on our first album, Survival of the Fastest, will be filling in for Domo on our European and US tours this year. As we're revving up for a major US tour later this year, these will be our final European dates until some point in 2011, we're not sure when.
"So get your ass to Mars (i.e. the graveyard (i.e. your local smelly club (that we're playing in))) and help us chug some beers!"

We'll be touring in a slightly different incarnation, though, as our lead guitar player Domo 'The Kid' Dixon will be sitting out touring for the rest of 2010 to concentrate on personal stuff.
"Our pal and original guitbox player Kevy Canavan, who played on our first album, Survival of the Fastest, will be filling in for Domo on our European and US tours this year. As we're revving up for a major US tour later this year, these will be our final European dates until some point in 2011, we're not sure when.
"So get your ass to Mars (i.e. the graveyard (i.e. your local smelly club (that we're playing in))) and help us chug some beers!"
