Philadelphia-based progressive thrashers VEKTOR are due to kick off a US tour tonight - Friday, August 10th - at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Originally formed in Tempe, Arizona, VEKTOR expertly mix technical thrash metal with progressive elements, based around science-fiction themes. The band have released two full-length albums - 2009's BLACK FUTURE and 2011's OUTER ISOLATION.
VEKTOR bassist FRANK CHIN comments:
"It's been two years since we've done a proper US tour. A lot has happened since then and we're stoked to show the rest of the States what we've been working on, live. Seeing old fans and friends and making new ones. Turning new brains into cerebral mush and infecting new lands; we'll make it count. This is just a taste of the future. Sci-fi or die!"
