EPHEL DUATH SET TO REPRESENT MOTSTOY FESTIVAL AT NORWEGIAN ROCK UNION
Italian experimental jazz-metallers Ephel Duath have taken on the honour of representing Norwegian metal festival Motstoy at this year's Norwegian Rock Union (NRF) at the venue Betong in Oslo. This year the Norwegian Rock Union is celebrating its 25th anniversary and will see a battle of festivals between Motstoy, Inferno, Hole In The Sky and South Of Heaven. On September 7th, Ephel Duath are proudly taking the responsibility of representing Motstoy and will be up against 1349, Entombed and Iskald in the celebratory battle.
This appearance follows the release of Ephel Duath's album 'Pain Remixes The Known', which reworks and remixes 2005's 'Pain Necessary To Know'. The album has already been met by positive reviews, with leading UK magazine Kerrang! stating 'Ephel Duath have the foundations of a perfect slice of discordant electro dub insanity'. Fans can expect the brand new release from Ephel Duath, 'Through My Dog's Eyes' next year.
