EARACHE SUPPORTS RECORD STORE DAY

April 18th, 2009 marks a special day. For one day each year, music is
celebrated with what is sadly becoming more and more rare - the independent
record store.

Record Store Day was founded in 2007 to celebrate the unique culture
surrounding the many independent record stores around the world. On the
third Saturday of every April, music fans are invited to come together with
artists, labels and independently owned record stores to enjoy the
atmosphere and products that independent stores offer.

Earache Records has always been fully supportive of independent stores,
particularly being an independent label itself, and this year is teaming up
with one of the best, and now last, local independent record stores in its
hometown of Nottingham, UK.

So this Saturday, 18th April, support your local independent store, and for
those of you living in Nottingham, head down to The Heavy Sounds to soak up
the friendly atmosphere, hang out and chat with fellow music lovers, and
check out the Earache Records stall, where you can get Earache products at
special discounted prices, including CDs and vinyls from the best new and
old bands, plus t-shirts and other merchandise.

The Heavy Sounds can be found at 15-17 West End Arcade, Chapel Bar (just off
the Market Square), Nottingham, NG1 6JP.
